We live in a time characterized by change and flexibility.strong.
In these hectic times, the body communicates with us, which can show itself in painful ways. We often ignore these signals with the thought ‘it will pass’.
Yoga therapy is aimed at people who suffer from physical or psychological limitations. Yoga therapy can also be indicated to bring more energy and joy back into life, activates the self-healing powers to harmonize pain of various causes and offers behavioral and solution approaches to psychological issues such as stress, sleep disorders or burnout.
The focus is always on people and their individual needs. It is important to realize that yoga therapy motivates the patient to take personal responsibility so that they are consciously involved in their own healing process.
Each therapy begins with an initial session in which conversation is the focus. Based on the complaints, the individual resources and the goals, we (client and yoga therapist) develop together a first practice (physical exercises, breathing exercises, meditation and other recommendations) for home. The regular practice leads to activate the self-healing powers and let arise joy in practicing.
The second session takes place after 7 to 14 days. We adjust the exercise program according to the experience gained and further requests for change. The intervals of further therapy sessions are mutually agreed upon and can also become longer as the therapy progresses. We usually meet for 5 – 6 therapy sessions, but this can be individualized..
